ABOUT MEHello! I’m a NUS Economics undergraduate based in Singapore, and I spend my free time illustrating and experimenting with new ideas! Previously an O-Level art student, I now try to keep my passion alive whilst focusing on academics. I’m interested in social media marketing, content creation and product design! As publicity head of ME{R}DU 2022, an ad-hoc part of the Malay Language Society in NUS (PBMUKS), I was tasked to create album covers for the participants who are releasing singles on Spotify and Apple Music, done on Adobe Photoshop.

To summarize the events that NUS Malay Language Society executed over the course of the academic year 2022/2023, the Public Relations Secreteriat published a zine titled Impian (a Malay word for Dreams) in August 2023. This zine was printed out as a physical copy handed out during our Annual General Meeting, receiving positive reviews from the attendees.Excerpts from the zine that I designed can be found below.

A comic I made for a Tembusu module on Climate Change, where I researched on rewilding and the role of microhabitats, before subsequently condensing the content into an engaging comic for the public to read. This piece was recommended by my professor to be sent in to the authors of the research paper referenced.A full HD resolution of this piece can be given upon request.

From September to January 2023 as well as July 2023 - January 2024, I was an intern at the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions. My tasks involve research advocacy by condensing research into bite-sized, eye-catching visuals for the public. I also aided in data collection for research through social media callouts, as well as supported launches of nature-based climate solutions.
From December 2021 to May 2022, I had the opportunity to work with Thryft as a Content and Brand Marketing Intern, with a specialisation in Graphic Design. There, I am the main creative designer of all of Thryft's on-screen collateral such as Instagram posts, blog and website banners, as well as merchandise. I also spearheaded the production of a branding kit for Thryft's future rebranding.
